Prevoir Poland is an insurance company that provides life insurance for individual customers. It was established as a family business in 1910 in France. Present in the Polish market since the year 2000 it has 500 insurance agents cooperating with its offices across the country. Prevoir's insurance sales are based on individual customer service to offer tailor-made solutions. This approach requires impeccable product knowledge from the agents and Testportal is the tool of choice that supports exams for insurance professionals.
Credible results in an industry regulated by the financial authority
Selling insurance is regulated by Polish law, and all relevant exams must adhere to the strict Financial Supervision Authority and Ministry of Finance rules. All test topics are included in a special directive.
COVID-19 pandemic and the switch to remote testing was challenging for the insurance industry. After a short pause, and with new rules updated by the authorities, we could select a tool for online exams. Among many e-learning platforms, I found Testportal, which met all legal requirements for insurance agents testing tools and supported subscription payments.

Tools used for insurance agents' testing must meet a number of criteria. Among others, they must include question rotation and results statistics features. The 'random order of questions and answers feature' increases test result reliability compared to traditional exams. The Honest Respondent Technology enables easy tracking of any cheating attempts, but those are a rare occurrence during Prevoir tests. Detailed statistics and reports provide accurate insights into the competencies of whole groups and individual respondents. They also facilitate archiving tests for future supervising authorities' controls. Meeting legal requirements is the basis of daily insurance company operations.
Because of Prevoir's exam specifics, user-friendliness is a crucial factor. Among other practical features, the company points out the simplicity of the interface for both test owners and respondents.
Insurance agents taking their exams on the Testportal platform do that only one time. Most often, that is the single time they have any contact with this tool. They praise its intuitiveness and we have never received any complaints about the test-taking process.

The online exams optimization process
Since March 2021, nearly 1000 insurance agents have taken Prevoir tests. The company runs, on average, between two and six sessions per month. They all end with certificates and include respondents' names on the list of persons certified to sell insurance. All Testportal-issued certificates are in line with the current legal requirements of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.
Online tests, which started in Prevoir during the COVID-19 pandemic, facilitated exams so much that the company intends to keep using them. The reason behind it is mostly the ability to organize assessments across the whole country and keep their costs low. Together with the time saved, this clearly shows that online tests in the insurance industry are an immensely effective solution.
